# Stratus Insight EFB vs SkyBrief

The clearest difference is rating: SkyBrief at 4.6 against Stratus Insight EFB's 3.6. SkyBrief also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). Stratus Insight EFB's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (57% vs 25%). On price, ratings volume, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Stratus Insight EFB sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and SkyBrief sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SkyBrief holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.6. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 9 and 18 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 57% of Stratus Insight EFB's written reviews are positive against 25% of SkyBrief's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
