# Read Live vs Better Immersion New Edition

The clearest difference is rating: Read Live at 5.0 against Better Immersion New Edition's 3.5. Better Immersion New Edition's advantage is ratings volume (40 vs 1). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Read Live holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Better Immersion New Edition has 40 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 29% of Read Live's written reviews are positive against 33% of Better Immersion New Edition's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Read Live ships an update every 4 months, Better Immersion New Edition every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 2, 2026 respectively.
