# Speech Bubble Maker vs Winx

The clearest difference is rating: Winx at 5.0 against Speech Bubble Maker's 4.3. Winx also leads on monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and update cadence (every 9 days vs every 4 months). Speech Bubble Maker's advantage is ratings volume (801 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Speech Bubble Maker sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days and Winx sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Winx holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Speech Bubble Maker has 801 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Speech Bubble Maker ships an update every 4 months, Winx every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
