# TimeBlocks vs Sorted³

The clearest difference is rating: Sorted³ at 4.7 against TimeBlocks's 3.1. Sorted³ also leads on ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (73% vs 47%). TimeBlocks's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 3 weeks). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TimeBlocks sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Sorted³ sells 11 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Sorted³ holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Sorted³ has 4.1K ratings behind it against 162, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 47% of TimeBlocks's written reviews are positive against 73% of Sorted³'s.

TimeBlocks ships an update weekly, Sorted³ every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
