# NeuroNation vs Lateral+

The clearest difference is ads: Lateral+ at none against NeuroNation's shown. Lateral+ also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. NeuroNation sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 3 months and Lateral+ sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

NeuroNation ships an update every 3 weeks, Lateral+ every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and September 20, 2026 respectively.
