# NeuroNation vs TutorialRepo

The clearest difference is monetization model: NeuroNation at free with in-app purchases against TutorialRepo's subscription. NeuroNation also leads on ratings volume (4.5K vs 1) and device support (4 vs 1). TutorialRepo's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 5 days vs every 3 weeks). On price and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. NeuroNation sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 3 months and TutorialRepo sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

TutorialRepo holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: NeuroNation has 4.5K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 91% of NeuroNation's written reviews are positive against 100% of TutorialRepo's.

NeuroNation ships an update every 3 weeks, TutorialRepo every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and September 21, 2026 respectively.
