# AnyFont vs Calibre Sync

The clearest difference is rating: AnyFont at 4.6 against Calibre Sync's 3.9. AnyFont also leads on ratings volume (26K vs 55) and price ($1.99 vs $4.99). Calibre Sync's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 1) and ads (none vs shown). On device support there is nothing between them.

AnyFont costs $1.99 and Calibre Sync $4.99 up front. AnyFont sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Calibre Sync asks for nothing beyond the download.

AnyFont holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: AnyFont has 26K ratings behind it against 55, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 38% of AnyFont's written reviews are positive against 62% of Calibre Sync's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

AnyFont ships an update every 2 months, Calibre Sync weekly. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
