# AnyFont vs FontEasy

The clearest difference is price: FontEasy at Free against AnyFont's $1.99. FontEasy also leads on ads (none vs shown) and rating (5.0 vs 4.6). AnyFont's advantage is ratings volume (26K vs 1) and update cadence (every 2 months vs every 4 months). On in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

FontEasy is free to download; AnyFont costs $1.99 up front. AnyFont sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and FontEasy sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

FontEasy holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: AnyFont has 26K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

AnyFont ships an update every 2 months, FontEasy every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
