# Flip Flap Fly vs Cat

The clearest difference is ads: Cat at none against Flip Flap Fly's shown. Cat also leads on iOS requirement (6.0 vs 11.0). Flip Flap Fly's advantage is update cadence (every 2 months vs every 5 months). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Flip Flap Fly sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Cat sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Flip Flap Fly ships an update every 2 months, Cat every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
