# Mr Flap vs Magnet Bird

The clearest difference is rating: Mr Flap at 4.3 against Magnet Bird's 3.8. Mr Flap also leads on ratings volume (110 vs 4). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Mr Flap sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Magnet Bird sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Mr Flap holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Mr Flap has 110 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 89% of Mr Flap's written reviews are positive against 92% of Magnet Bird's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Mr Flap ships an update every 2 months, Magnet Bird every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
