# Feenote vs Livestock Protocols

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Feenote at 2.1K against Livestock Protocols's 1. Feenote also leads on device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.0). Livestock Protocols's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.8). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Feenote sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 3 months and Livestock Protocols sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Livestock Protocols holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Feenote has 2.1K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Feenote ships an update weekly, Livestock Protocols every 11 days. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
