# Commando Comics vs Comic Makers

The clearest difference is rating: Comic Makers at 4.8 against Commando Comics's 2.0. Comic Makers also leads on update cadence (every 2 days vs every 19 months) and ratings volume (5 vs 1). Commando Comics's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 26.2). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Commando Comics sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and Comic Makers sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Comic Makers holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 2.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Comic Makers has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Commando Comics ships an update every 19 months, Comic Makers every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
