# Commando Comics vs Vizi Player

The clearest difference is ads: Commando Comics at none against Vizi Player's shown. Commando Comics also leads on iOS requirement (11.0 vs 16.0). Vizi Player's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 19 months). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Commando Comics sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and Vizi Player sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Commando Comics ships an update every 19 months, Vizi Player weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 4, 2026 respectively.
