# UserPass vs Cyclonis Password Manager

The clearest difference is rating: Cyclonis Password Manager at 3.8 against UserPass's 1.0. Cyclonis Password Manager also leads on update cadence (every 2 months vs every 13 months) and ratings volume (9 vs 1). UserPass's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 1) and review sentiment (50% vs 33%). On price and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Cyclonis Password Manager sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $17.99 per 6 months. UserPass asks for nothing beyond the download.

Cyclonis Password Manager holds the better App Store score, 3.8 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Cyclonis Password Manager has 9 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of UserPass's written reviews are positive against 33% of Cyclonis Password Manager's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

UserPass ships an update every 13 months, Cyclonis Password Manager every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 4, 2026 and September 25, 2026 respectively.
