# Pixel Hunter 3D vs Exodus

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Pixel Hunter 3D at 75% against Exodus's 38%. Exodus's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (weekly vs every 11 months). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Exodus holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 3.7. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 7 and 27 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 75% of Pixel Hunter 3D's written reviews are positive against 38% of Exodus's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Pixel Hunter 3D ships an update every 11 months, Exodus weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and November 1, 2026 respectively.
