# emo+ vs Binawave

The clearest difference is update cadence: Binawave at every 2 weeks against emo+'s every 40 months. emo+'s advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. emo+ sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Binawave sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

emo+ ships an update every 40 months, Binawave every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
