# S vs BB

The clearest difference is update cadence: S at every 2 months against BB's every 10 months. BB's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (8.0 vs 16.6). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

S ships an update every 2 months, BB every 10 months. The most recent releases landed on October 5, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
