# Convert Date vs Emras

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Emras at none against Convert Date's 1. Emras also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 83%). Convert Date's advantage is rating (4.8 vs 4.5) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 12.3). On price, ratings volume, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Convert Date sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Emras asks for nothing beyond the download.

Convert Date holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.5. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 12 and 35 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 83% of Convert Date's written reviews are positive against 100% of Emras's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Convert Date ships an update every 6 months, Emras every 10 months. The most recent releases landed on September 26, 2026 and October 4, 2026 respectively.
