# Raster vs DrawinGrid

The clearest difference is rating: DrawinGrid at 4.7 against Raster's 3.8. DrawinGrid also leads on review sentiment (82% vs 44%) and ratings volume (5K vs 46). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Raster sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and DrawinGrid sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $8.00 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

DrawinGrid holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: DrawinGrid has 5K ratings behind it against 46, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 44% of Raster's written reviews are positive against 82% of DrawinGrid's.

Raster ships an update every 3 months, DrawinGrid monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
