# Voice Diary vs SnapPlan

The clearest difference is rating: SnapPlan at 5.0 against Voice Diary's 3.1. SnapPlan also leads on update cadence (every 10 days vs every 2 months). Voice Diary's advantage is ratings volume (40 vs 1) and device support (4 vs 2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Voice Diary sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and SnapPlan sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SnapPlan holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Voice Diary has 40 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Voice Diary ships an update every 2 months, SnapPlan every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
