# Pollo Tropical vs La Differance

Pollo Tropical and La Differance both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of La Differance's written reviews are positive against 20% of Pollo Tropical's. La Differance also leads on ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). Pollo Tropical's advantage is ratings volume (43K vs 1) and update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 7 months). On price, rating, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

La Differance holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Pollo Tropical has 43K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 20% of Pollo Tropical's written reviews are positive against 100% of La Differance's.

Pollo Tropical ships an update every 6 weeks, La Differance every 7 months. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
