# Pollo Tropical vs Kabobji

The clearest difference is ads: Kabobji at none against Pollo Tropical's shown. Kabobji also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 6 weeks). Pollo Tropical's advantage is ratings volume (43K vs 1). On price, rating, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Kabobji holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Pollo Tropical has 43K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Pollo Tropical ships an update every 6 weeks, Kabobji fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
