# Kartable vs Pineapple

The clearest difference is rating: Kartable at 4.6 against Pineapple's 1.0. Kartable also leads on ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (221 vs 1). Pineapple's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs monthly). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Kartable sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per month and Pineapple sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Kartable holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Kartable has 221 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 72% of Kartable's written reviews are positive against 50% of Pineapple's.

Kartable ships an update monthly, Pineapple weekly. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
