# Notifications vs MECH AI

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Notifications at 100% against MECH AI's 52%. Notifications also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 21) and ads (none vs shown). MECH AI's advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs every 7 months) and rating (4.1 vs 3.8). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MECH AI sells 21 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days. Notifications asks for nothing beyond the download.

MECH AI holds the better App Store score, 4.1 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MECH AI has 127 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Notifications's written reviews are positive against 52% of MECH AI's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Notifications ships an update every 7 months, MECH AI every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
