# Resistor Tools vs Cores

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Cores at none against Resistor Tools's 1. Resistor Tools's advantage is device support. On price and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Resistor Tools sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Cores asks for nothing beyond the download.
