# Ridsport vs Ridesum

The clearest difference is update cadence: Ridesum at every 10 days against Ridsport's every 4 months. Ridsport's advantage is iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Ridsport sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and Ridesum sells 15 in-app purchases, starting at $4.49 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Ridsport ships an update every 4 months, Ridesum every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
