# Rocket Crane vs Falcon Lander

The clearest difference is ads: Rocket Crane at none against Falcon Lander's shown. Rocket Crane also leads on review sentiment (80% vs 65%) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 27.0). Falcon Lander's advantage is update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 37 months) and rating (4.3 vs 4.0). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Rocket Crane sells 6 one-off in-app purchases and Falcon Lander sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Falcon Lander holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Falcon Lander has 259 ratings behind it against 41, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 80% of Rocket Crane's written reviews are positive against 65% of Falcon Lander's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Rocket Crane ships an update every 37 months, Falcon Lander every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
