# Rocket Crane vs Space Shuttle AR

The clearest difference is rating: Space Shuttle AR at 4.7 against Rocket Crane's 4.0. Space Shuttle AR also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 6) and update cadence (every 5 months vs every 37 months). On price, review sentiment, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Rocket Crane sells 6 one-off in-app purchases. Space Shuttle AR asks for nothing beyond the download.

Space Shuttle AR holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Space Shuttle AR has 1.2K ratings behind it against 41, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 80% of Rocket Crane's written reviews are positive against 78% of Space Shuttle AR's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Rocket Crane ships an update every 37 months, Space Shuttle AR every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
