# ST TV vs Perfect IPTV Player

The clearest difference is rating: Perfect IPTV Player at 4.6 against ST TV's 2.5. Perfect IPTV Player also leads on ratings volume (8.3K vs 4) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 5 weeks). ST TV's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 4) and review sentiment (50% vs 41%). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Perfect IPTV Player sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.69 per month. ST TV asks for nothing beyond the download.

Perfect IPTV Player holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 2.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Perfect IPTV Player has 8.3K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of ST TV's written reviews are positive against 41% of Perfect IPTV Player's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

ST TV ships an update every 5 weeks, Perfect IPTV Player fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
