# ST TV vs Smarters Pro

The clearest difference is rating: Smarters Pro at 4.5 against ST TV's 2.5. Smarters Pro also leads on ratings volume (9K vs 4). ST TV's advantage is review sentiment (50% vs 14%) and in-app purchases (none vs 1). On price, update cadence and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Smarters Pro sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $4.99 per year. ST TV asks for nothing beyond the download.

Smarters Pro holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 2.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Smarters Pro has 9K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of ST TV's written reviews are positive against 14% of Smarters Pro's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

ST TV ships an update every 5 weeks, Smarters Pro every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
