# Kitchen Scramble vs Diner DASH Adventures

The clearest difference is rating: Diner DASH Adventures at 4.4 against Kitchen Scramble's 3.6. Diner DASH Adventures also leads on ratings volume (71K vs 3.2K). Kitchen Scramble's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs monthly) and review sentiment (40% vs 32%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Kitchen Scramble sells 11 one-off in-app purchases and Diner DASH Adventures sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Diner DASH Adventures holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 3.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Diner DASH Adventures has 71K ratings behind it against 3.2K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 40% of Kitchen Scramble's written reviews are positive against 32% of Diner DASH Adventures's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Kitchen Scramble ships an update fortnightly, Diner DASH Adventures monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
