# Kitchen Scramble vs Cooking Dash™

The clearest difference is rating: Cooking Dash™ at 4.7 against Kitchen Scramble's 3.6. Cooking Dash™ also leads on ratings volume (111K vs 3.2K) and chart position (#172 vs unranked). Kitchen Scramble's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs monthly). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Kitchen Scramble sells 11 one-off in-app purchases and Cooking Dash™ sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Cooking Dash™ holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Cooking Dash™ has 111K ratings behind it against 3.2K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 40% of Kitchen Scramble's written reviews are positive against 33% of Cooking Dash™'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Kitchen Scramble ships an update fortnightly, Cooking Dash™ monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
