# Abode vs Scrypted

The clearest difference is rating: Scrypted at 5.0 against Abode's 4.2. Scrypted also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 8) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 6 weeks). Abode's advantage is ratings volume (4.8K vs 16) and device support (4 vs 2). On price, ads and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.
