# Abode vs RigKit

The clearest difference is review sentiment: RigKit at 100% against Abode's 23%. RigKit also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.2) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 6 weeks). Abode's advantage is ratings volume (4.8K vs 1) and device support (4 vs 2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Abode sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and RigKit sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $19.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

RigKit holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Abode has 4.8K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 23% of Abode's written reviews are positive against 100% of RigKit's.

Abode ships an update every 6 weeks, RigKit fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and September 12, 2026 respectively.
