# SEO Edge vs SE Ranking Pro

The clearest difference is rating: SE Ranking Pro at 4.5 against SEO Edge's 3.5. SE Ranking Pro also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.6). SEO Edge's advantage is monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription). On price, review sentiment, ratings volume and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SEO Edge sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and SE Ranking Pro sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SE Ranking Pro holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.5. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 102 and 154 respectively. Written reviews point the same way: 54% of SEO Edge's written reviews are positive against 56% of SE Ranking Pro's.

SEO Edge ships an update every 2 weeks, SE Ranking Pro monthly. Both last shipped on October 26, 2026.
