# EyesHaveIt vs Hippo Education

The clearest difference is review sentiment: EyesHaveIt at 80% against Hippo Education's 22%. EyesHaveIt also leads on device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (6.0 vs 16.4). Hippo Education's advantage is price (Free vs $4.99) and rating (4.6 vs 3.8). On ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Hippo Education is free to download; EyesHaveIt costs $4.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Hippo Education holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Hippo Education has 1.3K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 80% of EyesHaveIt's written reviews are positive against 22% of Hippo Education's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

EyesHaveIt ships an update every 6 months, Hippo Education fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
