# HOT Remote vs Nuri Casting

The clearest difference is rating: Nuri Casting at 5.0 against HOT Remote's 1.7. Nuri Casting also leads on update cadence (every 3 months vs every 11 months). HOT Remote's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 3) and review sentiment (20% vs 0%). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Nuri Casting sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $69.99 per year. HOT Remote asks for nothing beyond the download.

Nuri Casting holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 1.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: HOT Remote has 6 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 20% of HOT Remote's written reviews are positive against 0% of Nuri Casting's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
