# DEC Connect vs KRAIN

The clearest difference is update cadence: KRAIN at every 2 weeks against DEC Connect's every 2 months. KRAIN also leads on iOS requirement (14.0 vs 17.0). DEC Connect's advantage is ratings volume (34 vs 7). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

DEC Connect holds the better App Store score, 2.9 against 2.7. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 34 and 7 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 26% of DEC Connect's written reviews are positive against 29% of KRAIN's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

DEC Connect ships an update every 2 months, KRAIN every 2 weeks. Both last shipped on October 6, 2026.
