# Mobile Link for Generators vs NEXT IQ

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: NEXT IQ at none against Mobile Link for Generators's 8. NEXT IQ also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 84%). Mobile Link for Generators's advantage is ratings volume (86K vs 5) and update cadence (monthly vs every 3 months). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Mobile Link for Generators sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $3.39 per month. NEXT IQ asks for nothing beyond the download.

Mobile Link for Generators holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Mobile Link for Generators has 86K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 84% of Mobile Link for Generators's written reviews are positive against 100% of NEXT IQ's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Mobile Link for Generators ships an update monthly, NEXT IQ every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
