# Red Onion vs True URL

The clearest difference is rating: True URL at 5.0 against Red Onion's 4.2. True URL also leads on price ($0.99 vs $1.99). Red Onion's advantage is ratings volume (1.7K vs 1) and chart position (#170 vs unranked). On ads, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Red Onion costs $1.99 and True URL $0.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

True URL holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Red Onion has 1.7K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
