# Santorini Guide vs Welcome Pickups

The clearest difference is monetization model: Santorini Guide at free against Welcome Pickups's paid. Santorini Guide also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 76%) and iOS requirement (7.0 vs 15.0). Welcome Pickups's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Santorini Guide ships an update every 2 months, Welcome Pickups fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and November 1, 2026 respectively.
