# Whistle Camera vs Cheez ツ

The clearest difference is rating: Cheez ツ at 4.6 against Whistle Camera's 3.9. Cheez ツ also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 4 days vs every 3 months). Whistle Camera's advantage is review sentiment (34% vs 25%) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.6). On price, ratings volume, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Whistle Camera sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Cheez ツ sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Cheez ツ holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.9. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 38 and 13 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 34% of Whistle Camera's written reviews are positive against 25% of Cheez ツ's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Whistle Camera ships an update every 3 months, Cheez ツ every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 6, 2026 respectively.
