# Whistle Camera vs Voice Camera Now

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Voice Camera Now at 80% against Whistle Camera's 34%. Voice Camera Now also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 3 months). Whistle Camera's advantage is rating (3.9 vs 1.0) and ratings volume (38 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Whistle Camera sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Voice Camera Now sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Whistle Camera holds the better App Store score, 3.9 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Whistle Camera has 38 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 34% of Whistle Camera's written reviews are positive against 80% of Voice Camera Now's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Whistle Camera ships an update every 3 months, Voice Camera Now every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
