# Easy Build vs XLSX Sheets

The clearest difference is rating: XLSX Sheets at 4.5 against Easy Build's 1.0. XLSX Sheets also leads on ratings volume (2.9K vs 1) and update cadence (monthly vs every 5 months). Easy Build's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and review sentiment (47% vs 23%). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Easy Build sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and XLSX Sheets sells 17 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

XLSX Sheets holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: XLSX Sheets has 2.9K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 47% of Easy Build's written reviews are positive against 23% of XLSX Sheets's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Easy Build ships an update every 5 months, XLSX Sheets monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
