# TapJet Space vs Space Shuttle AR

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Space Shuttle AR at none against TapJet Space's 9. Space Shuttle AR also leads on ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (1.2K vs 24). TapJet Space's advantage is review sentiment (92% vs 78%). On price, rating, update cadence and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TapJet Space sells 9 one-off in-app purchases. Space Shuttle AR asks for nothing beyond the download.

Space Shuttle AR holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Space Shuttle AR has 1.2K ratings behind it against 24, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 92% of TapJet Space's written reviews are positive against 78% of Space Shuttle AR's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

TapJet Space ships an update every 3 months, Space Shuttle AR every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
