# Connected2.me vs Qalam ~ قلم

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Connected2.me at 31K against Qalam ~ قلم's 25. Connected2.me also leads on chart position (#95 vs unranked). Qalam ~ قلم's advantage is review sentiment (42% vs 23%). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Connected2.me sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $15.49 per 7 days and Qalam ~ قلم sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Connected2.me holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Connected2.me has 31K ratings behind it against 25, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 23% of Connected2.me's written reviews are positive against 42% of Qalam ~ قلم's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Connected2.me ships an update fortnightly, Qalam ~ قلم every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
