# Connected2.me vs Chatap | Meet & Chat

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Chatap | Meet & Chat at none against Connected2.me's 12. Chatap | Meet & Chat also leads on review sentiment (50% vs 23%). Connected2.me's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (31K vs 307). On price, update cadence, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Connected2.me sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $15.49 per 7 days. Chatap | Meet & Chat asks for nothing beyond the download.

Connected2.me holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Connected2.me has 31K ratings behind it against 307, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 23% of Connected2.me's written reviews are positive against 50% of Chatap | Meet & Chat's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Connected2.me ships an update fortnightly, Chatap | Meet & Chat every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
