# I Ching vs 8iGHT

The clearest difference is update cadence: 8iGHT at every 3 months against I Ching's every 15 months. I Ching's advantage is iOS requirement (10.0 vs 16.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. I Ching sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and 8iGHT sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

I Ching ships an update every 15 months, 8iGHT every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
