# Just Dance Now vs Guitar Flash

The clearest difference is rating: Just Dance Now at 4.5 against Guitar Flash's 4.0. Just Dance Now also leads on ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (63K vs 52). Guitar Flash's advantage is review sentiment (62% vs 34%). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Just Dance Now sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and Guitar Flash sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Just Dance Now holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Just Dance Now has 63K ratings behind it against 52, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 34% of Just Dance Now's written reviews are positive against 62% of Guitar Flash's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Just Dance Now ships an update monthly, Guitar Flash every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
