# H&M vs Dillard's

The clearest difference is monetization model: Dillard's at free against H&M's free with in-app purchases. H&M's advantage is ratings volume (243K vs 4.5K) and review sentiment (39% vs 23%). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

H&M holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: H&M has 243K ratings behind it against 4.5K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 39% of H&M's written reviews are positive against 23% of Dillard's's.

H&M ships an update every 2 weeks, Dillard's monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
